It's a nice little happy tune, the melodic line is really catchy. One thing I have to say is that the drum intro is a bit long, I think the synths can come in a bit sooner. I would also recommend compressing the drum samples for a more 'fuller' sound. Maybe also work on building up certain parts to get a sense of motion and direction in the piece.

AlejandroPiano responds:

These are good points. I felt the same about the drums yesterday when I relistened to it. Thank you!

Love the sax intro, sets a good vibe. The Snail's house-type synth also sounds pretty cool. Sounds like there's a bit of call and response between the sections, which is fun to see in an electronic setting. The drop is satisfying, but the build up is a bit underwhelming, though I get what you were going for with the kind of silent anticipation. The melodies are very jazzy. Overall great sound and vibe.

Thank you Fiona :D

The mellow feel is done really well here, and the melodies and motion of the track keep it intriguing throughout. No major mixing issues that I can hear either, overall amazing feel and sound!

RedSkiesOfficial responds:

Thx a lot!

The track has a nice flow to it, and is also mixed very well. The changes in intensity throughout the song keep it interesting, and you really know how to work with that BASS. One suggestion I'd make is maybe vary the melodies a bit more throughout the track to keep it from being too stagnant, but other than that this is a very well made trap song.

DelitescentAria responds:

this was a two hour project, im not too worried about it lol

thanks for the kind words though!

I have to say, it does sound like it'd fit right in with the Undertale OST. Although some development in the melody or chord progression would make it a lot more interesting. Maybe also throw in some larger shifts in intensity just to keep the song moving in a direction. Other than that, the mixing is done decently, and the synths sound like they're straight from Undertale.

SharpenedSwords responds:

Hey, thanks for the feedback! I was thinking about making an extended version, so I'll keep that in mind.

The chord progression is fairly interesting. The claps starting at 0:11 are way too loud. The stutter effects (0:35 for example) are an interesting concept, although I think it needs some tweaking to sound less like buffering and more like a fast moving pick perhaps? The pauses are a bit too abrupt. The transition at 1:48 was pretty unique and interesting. I think the drums at 1:53 are slightly distorting the melody causing a sort of unintentional side-chaining effect. The change at 2:28 is alright, although I think more build up would be nice for such an impact. I also think at least a slight chord progression or at least melodic change would make the track a less monotony. From this point on it just sounds like the same melody and chords played on different synths. The ending leaves a lot to be desired. Overall, there are some unique elements but I think some more work needs to be done on the composition, specifically adding variation to the melodies or harmonies.

Telaris responds:

Up until 2:27 was made by my Collaborator (I made the chords and melody, he did the rest)

I will not change up the Drop but maybe the Main verse

(IDK)

The ambiance and atmosphere is very pronounced in this track. Though I think the part at 0:34 - 1:57 could do with a lower kick, because while I like the sort of marble tapping, I don't think it should be emphasized as much as it is. The transition at 1:57 is done really nicely, and the section from 1:57 - 3:22 is mixed fairly well, although some overlapping distortion is audible. The transition at 3:22 is a bit abrupt, but I do like the softer tone as the track ends, and the bird calls really add to the atmosphere. Overall, this is a terrific ambient track.

monikrr responds:

Thank you so much <3

Having a kick during the 0:34 - 1:57 part is actually a really good idea; I probably should've done that in the first place lol
Also, the transition at the end is intentionally abrupt, but I probably should've led up to it a bit better instead of leaving practically zero warning that it was coming.

The intro and build up to the first drop are very clear and well mixed. The first drop is satisfying and bringing in the intro melody was a nice touch. This section is very nicely mixed although a bit repetitive. The transition at 1:00 is done pretty well, with just enough noticeable fade on the leads so it isn't too abrupt. The part from 1:00 - 1:40 is a bit monotonous and feels kind of like the intro just drawn out longer. The 2nd drop, while slightly different from the first, reuses many of the same sounds which adds to the repetitive nature of the track, whether that's a good thing or bad I don't know. The ending is a bit sudden, but again is very similar to the transition at 1:00 just cut after 2 measures (or, 4 I suppose since it's 192 BPM instead of 96). Overall the track is well mixed and has decent direction to it, but I think a bit more variation in melody, chord progression, and/or synth timbre could go a long way here.

ClockbeatAdelony87 responds:

Thanks for the feedback! :D

The intro is well mixed and does a good job setting up the atmosphere and building up to the first drop. The chords are basic but that's alright. The first drop is satisfying, although I think it could be built up to a bit more intensely for a better effect. I think more variation in the growls or lead would help break up the monotony from 0:35 - 1:09. 1:09 - 1:43 could use some more defining characteristics for the section so the track isn't so samey. The drop at 2:01 isn't quite as satisfying, probably because of the lack of low overtones in the bass after the drop. 2:37 - 2:54 has that variation keeping it interesting which is a nice change. However some more decline before the ending would be beneficial for the track. Overall, the track is very well mixed, just could use some more varying chords, melodies, or motion to keep it interesting throughout.

Tennobyte responds:

Thx for your honest opinion :D.

Beautifully played! The chords are intriguing and the melodies are captivating. Perfectly captures the atmosphere of a long trek. The song also has amazing motion and direction to it, keeping it interesting throughout. The motion and direction does seem to disappear a bit in the 2nd half as the song doesn't really change much in intensity through the various key shifts as well as the chord progression as far as I can tell (aside from of course the key being changed, but I mean relative progression). That's really the only critique here, the piece is beautifully made and wonderfully played and the motion picks up by the end (4:57). The ending is fitting and resolved for the genre. Overall absolutely spectacular work!

DXZX responds:

THANK YOU SO MUCH. I really apreciate your honest opinion. It makes me work harder on my project's
